If your central vacuum is clogged here are a few steps to try before calling us.

Remember NEVER use a plumbing snake as this can crack the thin walled central vacuum tubing and cause a lot of problems.

The first step would be to check the canister and make sure the filter is clean and the canister or bag are empty.

Shop Vac: With the machine off turn on a shop vac or other vacuum and put the suction end of the hose to one of the inlets nearest the clog. Pull stop and repeat. This will most likely dislodge the debris and you should be in good shape.

If you have an idea of where the clog is you can try to vacuum up some marbles and see if the weight of them can clear the clog.

If you are unable to fix it please give us a call to set up service
